Why do you focus on food and storytelling?

Food is a universal medium and one which transcends cultures and languages. It is often an art form and creative outlet that can be appreciated by people from all walks of life. It is an empowering medium for people to communicate their understanding of the world to others and creates an environment of welcome.

We want to add context to the food people create and give a platform for all stories, to spread messages that would otherwise never be recorded or reach a wide audience.

Do you cater events?

At the present time, we do not cater as we are not a catering business – we are a grassroots non-profit organisation powered by a small group of keen individuals.

However we do hold frequent events around Hong Kong that showcase many different cuisines which you are welcome to join, please follow our Instagram and Facebook page for details. We can also by request assist with private events and give either a cooking demonstration or cultural food sharing but we require minimum 3-4 weeks lead time.
